Peter, Paul & George

Peter, Paul & George play throughout the northeastern United
States at school residencies and traditional community
dances. Peter Davis plays clarinet, guitar, piano,
mandolin, and pennywhistle. George Wilson plays fiddle,
banjo, bass, guitar, and percussive feet. Paul Rosenberg
calls the dances and plays recorder. |

The Whippersnappers

Featuring George Wilson, Peter Davis and Frank Orsini, all
play a variety of instruments including acoustic guitar,
5-string banjo, solo and twin fiddles, viola, clarinet,
mandolin and piano. Styles featured are: stately old-world
tunes, rousing mountain music and bluegrass, and sprightly
Celtic jigs and reels. |

Zillionaires

Their music features string swing jazz standards, fiddle
tunes, klezmer music, and songs new and old. They have
played barn dances, contra dances, weddings, garden parties,
celebrations and festivals. They like to say: “It's always
fresh! We're still working on the first Million!”
Dave Danks on mandolin, banjo-mandolin, ukulele and vocals;
Andy Davis on guitars and vocals; Billy Drislane on fiddle,
guitar, vocals; Dave Ray on fiddle; and Frank Stettner on

Bill
Spence and Fennig's All Star String Band

Their sprightly sound and seminal recordings have had an
immeasurable influence on many another dance band. Bill
Spence, hammered dulcimer - he was among the first to champion this instrument
as it began its revival in the early 1970s; George Wilson, fiddle and banjo; Toby
Stover, piano. Since the early '70's, they have been playing
and performing for country dances, concerts, and weddings.

Tame Rutabaga

A garden variety Family Dance Band, specializing in dances
for the very young and the young-at-heart. The band is
often comprised of fiddle, guitar, and flute/whistle, with
light percussion (hand drums, tambourine, etc) and sometimes
a piano. Other instruments have included: hammered dulcimer,
mountain dulcimer, washboard, piano, banjo, bass, various
wind instruments and a variety of drums. |
